- 2019 to presentConcordia University, Montreal. Head, Concordia Data Systems Lab (CoDS). Tenured Associate Professor since June 2024; Assistant Professor July 2019 to May 2024. Directs the GEMS research program and the CoDS-GCS open-source organization.
- 2013 to 2019Qatar Computing Research Institute, Doha. Research Scientist, Distributed Systems and Data Analytics Group. Technical lead on three joint MIT CSAIL–QCRI projects with Michael Stonebraker, Samuel Madden and Tim Berners-Lee, delivering E-Store, Data Civilizer and Solid as running systems.
